Update About Our Office During This Outbreak of Corona Virus : March 15, 2020

On the advice of the Ministry of Health we are changing our office protocols to ensure minimization of risk to our patients and our staff.

Starting the week of March 16, 2020 we will try to change as many patients visits as we can to virtual electronic visits. Initially most will be by phone. There are some patients who have already made arrangements to come to the office and, if they do, we will see them, once again minimizing risks by using frequent hand washing and minimized personal contact.

For the majority of scheduled patients we will set up visits through OnCall Health. One of the problems with phone visits is that each person requires individualized attention and some visits unexpectedly may take longer than others. We will make every effort to keep on schedule but at times we may be delayed.

Sexual Health & Performance

Supporting Men's Health, Confidence, and Quality of Life

Sexual health is an important part of overall physical, emotional, and relationship well-being.

Changes in sexual function are common as men age, but they should never be dismissed as
"something you simply have to live with."

Many concerns are treatable once the underlying causes are properly understood.

At Masters Men's Clinic, we provide comprehensive medical assessment to help identify factors that may be affecting sexual health and performance.

Understanding the Bigger Picture

Sexual function depends upon the interaction of many body systems.

Concerns may be influenced by:

  • Hormone balance
  • Cardiovascular health
  • Blood circulation
  • Diabetes and metabolic disorders
  • Sleep quality
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Depression
  • Medications
  • Lifestyle habits
  • Neurological conditions
  • Healthy aging

Because these factors are closely connected, successful treatment begins with understanding the whole person.

Common Reasons Men Seek Assessment

Patients may be referred because of concerns such as:

  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Reduced libido
  • Difficulty maintaining performance
  • Changes in sexual satisfaction
  • Fatigue affecting intimacy
  • Hormonal concerns
  • Declining confidence
  • Questions regarding healthy aging

These concerns are common and often have more than one contributing factor.

A Comprehensive Medical Assessment

Our evaluation considers:

  • Medical history
  • Current symptoms
  • Medications
  • Lifestyle factors
  • Cardiovascular risk
  • Hormone status
  • Laboratory investigations
  • Other medical conditions that may influence sexual health

Treatment recommendations are based on the complete clinical picture rather than a single symptom.

Individualized Care

Depending upon the findings, recommendations may include:

  • Lifestyle modification
  • Weight management
  • Exercise
  • Sleep improvement
  • Hormone evaluation
  • Medical treatment where appropriate
  • Coordination with your family physician

The objective is to improve overall health while addressing the factors contributing to sexual concerns.

A Private and Respectful Environment

Many men hesitate to discuss sexual health.

Our clinic provides a professional, confidential, and respectful environment where concerns can be discussed openly and without embarrassment.

Helping patients understand their health is the first step toward restoring confidence and improving quality of life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is erectile dysfunction always related to aging?
No. It can result from cardiovascular disease, diabetes, medication side effects, hormone changes, stress, neurological conditions, or other medical concerns.

Can improving overall health improve sexual function?
In many cases, yes. Exercise, nutrition, weight management, better sleep, stress reduction, and treatment of underlying medical conditions can all have a positive effect.

Is hormone imbalance always responsible?
No. Hormones are one important factor, but they are only one part of a much larger clinical picture.
